With over 140,000 users each year, the H.W. Cox, Jr. Community Center continues to serve the community as the flagship of the Collierville Park System and is home to the Harrell Performing Arts Center, Park Administration Offices, and wide variety of exercise and recreational space.   Opened in 1984, and renovated in 2004, the Community Center is housed on the 67.39-acre H.W. Cox, Jr. Park which features baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, multi-purpose athletic fields, two playgrounds, a walking trail and a picnic pavilion. The 52,000-square foot indoor facility boasts the following:

  • Park Administration Offices
  • Harrell Performing Arts Theatre
  • Two indoor basketball courts
  • Two racquetball courts
  • Elevated walking/running track
  • Group fitness studios
  • Cardio, free weights and resistance training areas
  • Physical therapy suite
  • Kidz Klub

In an effort to provide Collierville residents the optimum in wellness/fitness programming, the Town of Collierville has a contract with Desoto Athletic Club, to provide the motivation, knowledge, and service to help people improve their lives, all within an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere.  Phone:  901.861.2110
