2011 Ostrander Awards

This year’s Ostrander Award nominations, honoring excellence in Memphis theatre, were recently announced.  It was a good year for the Harrell Theatre, which got 14 nominations.

The winners were announced Aug. 28 at a ceremony at the Memphis Botanic Garden. The 28th annual Ostranders are administered by ArtsMemphis and Memphis magazine. They are named in honor of Jim Ostrander, a beloved actor who performed in theatres in the region for years.
