The Department Administrative Division is responsible for the development of a complete municipal recreation program capable of meeting the cultural and recreational needs of Town Citizens. Along with supervising the day-to-day operations of the department to insure the effective delivery of all department services, the Administrative Division is responsible for budget management and analysis, department personnel management, short and long term planning of the park system, and providing administrative support for the Park Advisory Board, Collierville Arts Council, Tourism Advisory Commission and the Collierville Town Beautiful Commission.
Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Collierville Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Department to serve, educate, and enhance life for all of our citizens. To plan and provide a wide variety of affordable recreational, athletic, educational, and cultural activities and opportunities. To acquire, develop, improve, beautify, and maintain a variety of parks, trails, and recreational facilities that provide all Collierville residents with leisure opportunities.
